Billings -- Montana’s “Magic City” surrounded by six mountain ranges -- is in the south central region’s edge of the Crow Indian Reservation, between the Shoshone and Custer national forests. Billings’ cultural events take place throughout the entire year, from Broadway-style productions to professional symphony performances at the Alberta Bair Theater. Dining includes some of the best steakhouses in the West, along with assorted ethnic cuisines from French to Mexican.
